Buddy Valastro of Cake Boss Chooses John Boos & Co. Maple Baker's Tops For His New Baking Facility at Lackawanna.

Buddy Valastro, owner of Carlo’s Bake Shop in Hoboken and star of TLC’s Cake Boss, will begin operating his new 32,000 square foot space at Lackwanna Center in Jersey City, NJ. This location will serve as a production facility with offices and headquarters for the growing brand, and many of its operations will be documented in the Cake Boss episodes. The facility is outfitted with state-of-the-art equipment, from professional-grade mixers to large scale ovens and industrial refrigerators.

John Boos' involvement includes 2-1/4" thick hard rock maple bakery tops which Buddy and his team can be seen using on the TLC’s TV show Cake Boss. These heavy duty commercial grade tops have a penetrating oil finish and are approved by the National Sanitation Foundation. They withstand the constant hustle and bustle of the busy bakery where Buddy and his team roll out fondant, dirty ice cakes, and sculpt one of a kind masterpieces.
