Retail Store Warehouse Associate

Job Description:

John Boos & Co. , a trusted provider of high-quality, performance driven equipment and workspaces that have inspired home cooks, chefs and foodservice industry workers for generations, is accepting applications for a part-time Retail Store Warehouse Associate for our Retail Outlet Store.

Summary:

Responsible for supporting the operations of the Retail Outlet Store and handling the movement, organization and loading of merchandise.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Inventory Management:

• Receive and inspect incoming deliveries for accuracy and quality.
• Record and track inventory using warehouse management systems.
• Organize and store inventory in designated locations, ensuring items are easily accessible.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with stocking.

Order Processing:

• Prepare and pack orders for shipment or delivery to the store floor.
• Ensure all items are picked accurately and packed securely.
• Label and tag products as required.
• Load and unload store merchandise.

Store Maintenance:

• Maintain a clean and organized store and warehouse environment.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to management.

Customer and Store Support:

• Assist store associates with stock replenishment and product retrieval.
• Handle returns and exchanges, processing according to store policy.
• Provide support during peak times or special events as required.

Administrative Tasks:

• Complete necessary documentation and data entry related to inventory and shipments.
• Collaborate with the store and warehouse team to address any issues or discrepancies.
• Perform other duties as required.

Education & Training:

• High School Diploma Required
• Basic knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse procedures.

Skills & Abilities:

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including Saturdays.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects of 50 lbs. or greater and operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks).

• Expected hours: No more than 29 per week
• Pay: $18.00 – $19.00 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Retail Warehouse: 1 year (Preferred)
