Crafted to Last: The Origins of the Boos Block Legacy
In his Effingham blacksmith shop, founder Conrad Boos created the first Boos Block from locally harvested sycamore, designed to absorb the impact of a smith’s hammer. When a local butcher admired the innovation and requested one for his market, Conrad’s son, John, fulfilled the order, laying the foundation for a brand that would thrive in kitchens for over 130 years.
